In search of...
A few year's ago, I completed a commission for the Sequioa National Park. The project involved creating five paintings of the Potwisha tribe who once lived in an area called Hospital Rock. Here are a few of the many sketches of images that were produced for this project.

My understanding of the history and research would interweave to later press me to write about it in Standing in the Gap of the Here and In Between, and inspiring the mixed-media installation Winyan Omnich, The Gathering of the Women, Standing in the Gap.
